    Description:

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Actively promotes and markets MercyOne’s prevention and wellness services to area employers when in community

    • Coordinates and maintains relationship with assigned health and wellbeing vendors and contractors.

    • Serves as liaison to Trinity Health/MercyOne entities where collaboration for shared wellbeing interests are shown

    • Coordinates direct to employer health outreach programming for MercyOne across all Divisions

    • Manages local supervisors and team leads

    • Responsible to assist with local teams to maintain adequate staffing levels to meet employer needs in each local market of MercyOne.

    • Responsible for working with accounting and finance for invoicing corporate clients for services performed and ensuring payment in coordination with appropriate MercyOne colleagues.

    • Responsible for developing and maintaining current policies.

    • Management of daily operations, product line development, annual budget development and compliance, monthly financial reporting/analysis and annual reporting

    • Coordinates and potentially teaches various health related classes on basic exercise, nutrition and stress management.

    • Serves as a liaison to MercyOne Clinical Labs for the Health and Wellbeing team.

    • Coordinate the transport of supplies, organization, hygiene, and overall flow of participants at events.

    • Maintains up-to-date knowledge based on disease risk factor and all aspects of prevention/wellness.

    • Monitors clinical lab results and questionnaires.

    • Provides input for program maintenance and development in maintaining a solutions road map.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree in exercise science, nutrition, nursing or related health field required.

    • Valid Iowa Driver’s/Chauffeurs License required. Must meet Mercy’s Motor Vehicle Safety Standards and be at least 18 years of age.

    • BLS for the Healthcare Provider certified or obtained within three (3) months of hire.

    • Proof on completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served within three (3) months of hire.

    • 5+ years’ experience in disease prevention/ lifestyle modification/ health coaching/health and wellbeing areas required.

    • 2 years of supervisory experience in the healthcare field

    PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

    1. Must be able to adapt to frequently changing work priorities, and be able to prioritize and balance the requirements of working with multiple stakeholders.

    2. Must possess good manual dexterity in order to operate a computer keyboard.

    3. Must possess good hearing in order to be effective on extensive telephone conference calls and for in person communication.

    4. Must be able to travel to various RHM sites and other locations as needed. Approximately 20%-30% of the time.
