    POSITION SUMMARY

    The Sr. CMM Programmer supports the Quality Receiving Inspection department, calibration team, and Engineering department with more complex quality receiving functions.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    + Inspection of materials, processes, parts, and assemblies, to assure quality products

    + Create inspection programs.

    + Will be working close with the calibration team to calibrate in house tooling, fixtures and work with Engineering for R&D and special inspections.

    + Work with Net-inspect and create FAIR’s.

    + Promote working relationships between inspection personnel and other departments

    + Must speak, comprehend, write, and read English

    + Must have a high sense of urgency, the ability to meet schedule requirements, and awareness of Quality Department’s business impact

    + Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance

    + Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work weekends and or variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary

    + Other responsibilities as assigned

     

    Education and Experience

     

    + High school diploma required.

    + 8+ years of related experience

     

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

     

    + Experience with CMM programming and operation – MCOSMOS, PC-DMIS, CMM Manager (software)

    + Layout inspection experience using shadowgraphs, height gauges, sine plates, Johnson gauges, calipers, micrometers, comparator, profilometer etc.

    + A good knowledge of Shop Math and GD&T

    + Familiar with calibration systems and techniques

    + Experience working in aerospace manufacturing required

    + Skilled at performing examinations and quality control inspections on products, materials, components and parts on all types of standard and special products

    + Intimate knowledge of AS9102, AS9100

    + Excellent internal and external customer service skills

    + Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize with changing situations

    + Ability to recognize and solve typical problems and select solutions from established options

    + Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to drive tasks to completion

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

     

    Competitive Compensation

     

    + Pay Range: $29.80/hr to $49.65/hr

    + Participation in Annual Incentive Program
