    Manpower Engineering is exclusively partnering with an industry leading, very well-established and growing company in Franksville, WI on a highly visible and direct hire/permanent Project Engineer position that’s available due to continued growth and has strong development and advancement opportunities. The company is succession planning and seeking someone that’s looking for the opportunity to move into an Engineering Leadership position in the next couple to few years.

Our client offers a variety of product configurations to meet the needs of different applications around the world.

     

    + **Position:** Project Engineer

    + **Location:** Franksville, WI

    + **Compensation:** Depending on qualifications/experience, this opportunity can offer up to a base salary of $110,000 plus bonus.

    Company Overview:

    Position Summary:

    The Project Engineer is responsible for designing, managing, and overseeing the construction of the company’s products for customers in various industries. This role ensures all project phases are executed efficiently to quality standards, leads process documentation and control initiatives, and supports the organization’s growth by contributing to team leadership. The Project Engineer must bring technical expertise, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to project management.

    Responsibilities:

    + Design and oversee construction of the company’s products, ensuring projects meet client specifications and industry standards.

    + Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including design drawings, project plans, and process control protocols.

    + Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams to enable seamless project delivery.

    + Provide technical support during installation to ensure safety, quality, and smooth execution.

    + Manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritizing effectively and allocating resources as needed.

    + Contribute to the development and improvement of project processes and Standard Operating Procedures for the engineering department.

    + Assist in managing project budgets, schedules, and procurement activities.

    + Mentor junior staff, participate in strategic planning, and demonstrate an interest in managerial and leadership development.

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred. 3+ years of experience.

    + Open to an Associate’s Degree and more experience.

    + Structural steel design experience. Open to other metal fabrication design experience.

    + Experience with AutoCAD (2D required, 3D preferred) and 3D modeling software (The company uses SolidWorks so experience with this is a plus). Experience with Tekla is a plus.

    + Experience designing complex systems and delivering detail-oriented solutions.

    + Understanding of steel design, fabrication, erection, and building construction processes.

    + Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural, structural, and mechanical drawings.

    + Project management experience is a plus. Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in a professional environment is an additional plus.

    + Proven success in the timely management and documentation of engineering projects.

    + Strong organizational skills with document and process control experience.

    + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective coordination with diverse stakeholders.

    + Willingness and ability to travel as needed to project sites and industry events – up to 5-10% of the time.
