Our client, a **fast-growing, family-owned manufacturer of engineered valves and flow control solutions** , is seeking a **Mechanical Engineer** to join their expanding engineering department. This is a high-impact role supporting new product design, compliance initiatives, and the continued build-out of an in-house engineering function.

The company has doubled revenue in recent years and is investing heavily in engineering resources, modern facilities, and talent to take operations to the next level. **Job Title:** Mechanical Engineer (or Engineering Manager)

**Location:** Santa Fe, TX

**Pay Range:** $120-150K+ (based on experience) + bonus

What’s the Job?

+ Manage engineering projects from initial design through testing, validation, and field performance

+ Develop and update specifications in collaboration with colleagues, third-party engineers, and suppliers

+ Oversee daily drawing requests, supporting and directing drafters and other team members

+ Ensure designs meet API, ISO, and customer requirements for performance and reliability

+ Review application data and recommend appropriate material selections

+ Represent engineering in customer and quality audits

+ Develop customer- and project-specific design packages including drawings, materials, and specifications

+ Support manufacturing and production teams with product design, development, and troubleshooting

What’s Needed?

+ Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)

+ 5+ years’ experience with equipment, processes, or products in industries such as pumps, valves, piping, or actuation systems (not required, but highly preferred)

+ Strong proficiency in drafting software like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Mathcad, DraftSight (ERP/Global Shop Solutions a plus)
