Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Building Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Facility Services department supporting site operations and maintenance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Building Maintenance Technician

**Location:** Pittsburgh, PA

**Pay Range:$28 to** 35p/h w-2

**Duration** 6 month contract to possible hire

What's the Job?

+ Maintain laboratories and office spaces within a cGMP manufacturing environment to ensure operational efficiency and safety.

+ Support site improvement initiatives and participate in special projects to enhance facility performance.

+ Ensure all facility activities comply with quality systems standards and maintain inspection readiness at all times.

+ Interact with building occupants to resolve issues related to temperature, plumbing, leaks, noise, odors, fire systems, and more.

+ Execute facility-related capital projects, coordinate small tenant improvements, and manage contractor relationships.

What's Needed?

+ High School diploma or equivalent.

+ Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of facility systems.

+ Knowledge of quality systems and change order requirements in a validated environment.

+ Proficient computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
