Our client, a leader in the energy efficiency and sustainable building sector, is seeking a Building Energy Data Analyst to join their team. As a Building Energy Data Analyst, you will be part of the Strategy & Planning department supporting the Clean and Resilient Buildings (CRB) team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate analytical thinking, proactive problem-solving, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Building Energy Data Analyst | 3 years contract
**Location:** 100% Remote
What's the Job?
+ Support the team in enhancing data collection, standardization, and analysis processes for building projects.
+ Leverage project data to fulfill data requests and conduct insightful analyses to support market insights.
+ Create dashboards and analytical tools to improve operational management of building efficiency programs.
+ Identify opportunities to improve data collection and storage, including integration with Salesforce and other datasets.
+ Collaborate across teams to ensure data quality and support continuous improvement initiatives.
What's Needed?
+ 3+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or building energy efficiency.
+ Strong knowledge of building energy systems, efficiency technologies, and energy data management.
+ Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau.
+ Experience with programming languages like SQL or Python and understanding of database architecture.
+ Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
