Education and Engagement Manager (E6022) - 250287 : KNW-C50 Description Job Summary The overall purpose of this position is to collaborate with IEEE volunteers/staff and IEEE operating units to evaluate the potential of education program ideas and connect these stakeholders with the resources available from IEEE to bring ideas with potential to life. The incumbent in this position is primarily responsible for creating and managing an educational idea review process that is accessible and transparent in order to facilitate innovation and awareness of education program development opportunities at IEEE. Key responsibilities include managing relationships with IEEE volunteers and staff, business and market intelligence, education program development consulting, facilitating communication between stakeholders, and ensuring education programs align with the mission and strategic goals of IEEE. This role requires strong communication, organizational, entrepreneurial, and project management skills, with a focus on creating impactful educational opportunities and growing participation. Key Responsibilities 40% Stakeholder Engagement Create advisory panel to provide ongoing input into EA education support processes Provide regular opportunities for stakeholders to bring education ideas and receive strategic input Build and maintain strong relationships with IEEE members, volunteers, and staff throughout the organization 40% Program Development & Project Management Conduct research and gather business intelligence about market and educational needs to identify relevant and impactful program ideas Create transparent process to evaluate education program ideas Assist stakeholders in planning and identifying/obtaining resources for selected education programs/ideas Assist stakeholders with logistical aspects of selected programs, including budgeting, event planning, data collection, and ensuring alignment with IEEE strategic goals 10% Data Management & Reporting Track education program engagement metrics, collect feedback, and use data to assess program effectiveness and inform future initiatives Travel Information 10% Domestic and International Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Education or Instructional Design Req Master's or other advanced degree Pref Work Experience 10 years of successful professional experience developing education products Pref Expertise in instructional design and adult learning theory Pref In-depth knowledge of engineering, computing, and STEM fields Pref Extensive experience working with and supporting volunteers Req Demonstrated experience in project management Req Demonstrated experience with data analytics and business/market intelligence Req Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain organized workflows, and meet deadlines Req Strong interpersonal skills to develop and nurture partnerships with a variety of stakeholders Req Proven ability to plan, organize, and execute events and programs effectively Req Proficiency with relevant software and CRM systems for data entry, reporting, and program management Pref A genuine interest in fostering educational growth and community engagement Req Other Requirements : As defined in IEEE Policies, individuals currently serving on an IEEE board or committee are not eligible to apply.
