Worldwide Amazon Business Operations is building the operations and supply chain solutions that will enable AB’s rapid growth by re-engineering many parts of our supply chain to offer bulk, consolidated, pallet, and many other parcel delivery services that business customers require.

We are seeking a Cloud Support Engineer to join the AB Operations Analytics team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data within our analytics environment. This is an exciting opportunity to join a new team in a huge growth area for Amazon.

Key job responsibilities

- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to document comprehensive data requirements and create detailed process maps

- Design and implement robust data exploration frameworks for large-scale datasets

- Develop sophisticated data access control mechanisms ensuring security and efficiency

- Leverage AWS tools to seamlessly extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources

- Architect innovative solutions that elevate system performance and data integrity

About the team

Our team sits at the intersection of technology and business strategy, developing unique solutions that differentiate Amazon Business from traditional procurement platforms. We're not just supporting operations; we're pioneering how businesses purchase and receive goods.

Basic Qualifications

- 2+ years of systems engineering, or 2+ years of technical support experience

- Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems

- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with AWS, networks and operating systems

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $52,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $118,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
