Job Title: Test TechnicianJob Description

The Test Technician will troubleshoot assembly or system level failures to the component level using test failure reports, schematics, datasheets, and other tools. This role involves collaborating with Test Engineers and customers to gain further knowledge of functionality when information is not available, and providing break-fix support for test equipment.

Responsibilities

+ Troubleshoot assembly or system level failures to the component level.

+ Collaborate with Test Engineers and customers for additional functionality knowledge.

+ Provide break-fix support for test equipment.

+ Utilize appropriate tools for creation, analysis, and verification of documentation, programs, models, processes, or production.

+ Demonstrate a basic, discipline-specific understanding of how they support the full product processes and specifications.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with oscilloscopes, schematics, electronics, troubleshooting, multimeters, and network analyzers.

+ Associates or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

+ Minimum of 2 years experience working with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and network analyzers.

+ Experience in tracking bugs and defects and developing solutions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Any software programming experience is a plus.

The role is based in a clean, temperature-controlled environment that provides extensive training to ensure success on the floor. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buffalo Grove, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
