Job Title: Project Manager
Job Description
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful execution of projects by identifying, prioritizing, and scheduling tasks, managing finances to adhere to budget, and overseeing risk management through early problem identification and conflict resolution. Your role will also encompass procurement, subcontracting, supporting engineers, leading communications and meetings, and managing client accounts. You will manage projects ranging in size from $20k to $5M, ensuring overall project profitability.
Responsibilities
+ Execute projects by identifying, prioritizing, and scheduling tasks.
+ Track and manage financials to adhere to budget constraints.
+ Conduct risk management, including early problem identification and conflict resolution.
+ Handle procurement and manage subcontracts.
+ Support engineers in project execution.
+ Lead communications and meetings effectively.
+ Manage client accounts and ensure satisfaction.
+ Ensure overall project profitability.
Essential Skills
+ Project management expertise.
+ Engineering background , particularly in controls engineering and process controls.
+ Proficiency in budget, scope, and timeline management.
+ Experience in customer interface and automation.
+ 5+ years of experience in industries such as Water and Wastewater, Life Sciences, Specialty Chemicals, or Food and Beverage.
+ Experience in designing electrical schematics, including Motor Control Panels 480VAC and below.
+ Experience with UL508A, UL698, and UL698A.
+ Experience in specifying Field Instrumentation and Motor Control Centers.
+ Ability to lead local and remote teams of engineers/technicians.
+ Mentoring experience for less experienced engineers.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline.
+ PMP certification preferred.
Work Environment
The position prefers onsite work with the ability to work remotely 1-2 days per week. The role requires customer interface and interaction with multiple internal engineering departments. Travel to customer sites may occur 10-15% of the time.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
