Medical Technologist – Evening Supervisor (Chemistry & Hematology | Brooklyn, NY)

We’re hiring a Medical Technologist to serve as an Evening Supervisor in the general lab, overseeing a team of 5–6 technologists. This is a full-time, weekday-only position offering competitive pay, generous time off, and the opportunity to lead quality assurance and testing operations in a high-performing lab environment.
About the Role
Under the direction of the Operations Manager, you’ll supervise chemistry and hematology departments, manage scheduling and team coordination, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. You’ll be the go-to person for troubleshooting, documentation, and maintaining analytic performance across point-of-care testing and clinical lab functions.
Key Responsibilities
+ Supervise evening operations in the general lab
+ Manage scheduling, team coordination, and administrative paperwork
+ Oversee testing and QA activities for chemistry and hematology departments
+ Perform manual differentials and ensure analytic performance standards
+ Review quality control, calibration, and environmental monitoring
+ Conduct equipment maintenance checks and review amended reports
+ Support point-of-care testing and ensure regulatory compliance
Qualifications
+ NYS Clinical Technologist license (required)
+ Bachelor’s degree + 4 years of clinical lab experience
+ OR Master’s degree + 2 years of clinical lab experience
+ Experience in chemistry and hematology
+ Ability to perform manual differentials
+ 1–2 years of supervisory or lead experience in a clinical lab
+ Strong communication and organizational skills

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $135000.00/yr.
