Job Title: Senior Estimator

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Estimator with over 5 years of estimating experience, ideally with 5+ years as an Estimator and 5+ years as a Project Manager concurrently with their estimating responsibilities. This role requires expertise in preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project specifications, and managing bidding processes while overseeing project execution to ensure budget and timeline alignment. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting both Federal and Commercial construction projects with a General Contractor.

Responsibilities

+ Prepare accurate cost estimates and analyze project specifications.

+ Manage bidding processes and oversee project execution to ensure alignment with budget and timeline.

+ Support both Federal and Commercial construction projects.

+ Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure project success.

+ Utilize estimating software and project management tools effectively.

Essential Skills

+ 10+ years of estimating experience, with at least 5 years in a senior estimator role.

+ 5+ years of project management experience, concurrently with estimating responsibilities.

+ Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and cost structures.

+ Proficiency in estimating software and project management tools.

+ Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.

+ Commercial and Federal Estimating Experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

+ Experience with Procore and other construction management software.

+ General Contractor experience.

+ Mechanical estimator experience.

Work Environment

The role involves working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where managing multiple projects simultaneously is essential. The candidate will use a variety of technologies and equipment, including estimating software and project management tools. The work involves both office and on-site settings, which necessitates adherence to safety standards and protocols.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $58.00/hr.
