    Join our urgent care clinic as a Medical Assistant, where you will play a crucial role in patient care and clinic operations. Your primary responsibilities will involve collecting patient demographics and triaging patients based on their symptoms.

    Responsibilities

    + Collect and record patient demographics accurately.

    + Triage patients effectively based on their symptoms.

    + Assist with maintaining electronic health records and medical records.

    + Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive patient experience.

    + Support front desk operations as needed.

    Essential Skills

    + 1+ year of experience in a fast-paced clinic environment.

    + Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

    + Strong understanding of medical terminology and medical assisting.

    + Ability to take and record vitals accurately.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Preferred but not required: MA diploma or certification.

    + Experience in healthcare or medical settings.

    + Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

    + Strong customer service skills.

    Work Environment

    Work onsite at a primary care clinic, handling between 20 to 30 patients daily. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, from 8am to 5pm.     This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, Florida.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
