    Job Title: Ophthalmic Photographer

     

    Job Type: Contract-to-Hire

    About the Role

    We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Ophthalmic Photographer to join our dynamic clinical team. This role plays a vital part in patient care by capturing high-quality ophthalmic images and supporting clinical operations. If you have a passion for photography and healthcare, this is a great opportunity to grow in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Obtain and document patient history and visual acuity tests

    + Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure smooth and efficient patient flow

    + Capture high-resolution OCTs and OCTAs

    + Perform IVFA and ICG procedures

    + Take fundus, anterior segment, and external photographs

    + Maintain accurate and thorough patient records

    Essential Skills & Qualifications

    + Proficiency in ophthalmic photography, especially fundus imaging

    + Experience with OCT technology and basic ophthalmology knowledge

    + Strong computer skills

    + Bilingual skills are a plus

    + Minimum 6 months of experience in a related field

    + CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)

    + Preferred certifications: COA, OCT-C, CRA

    Work Environment

    + Schedule varies between6:30 AM to 6:00 PM, depending on clinic needs

    + Initial training provided at theGalleria administration building

    + Primary work location:Bellaire Clinic, one of Houston’s busiest clinics (80–100 patients/day)

    + Occasional support atCypress, Katy, and Sugarlandlocations

    + Team-oriented setting with 8–24 staff members per physician

    + Fast-paced clinical environment

    + Dress code:Navy blue scrubs, short/groomed nails, hair tied back

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $27.00/hr.
