Job Title: Systems Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Principal Systems Engineer to support the SEIT Technical Execution Lead Engineer in defining environmental requirements for one of our client's programs. This position will be based on-site in Chandler, AZ.

Responsibilities

+ Work under general direction for the SEIT Technical Execution Lead to define environmental requirements and ensure traceability from Level 4 down to Level 6 within the specification tree.

+ Engage in frequent interorganizational interactions to carry requirements through the design.

+ Collaborate with senior systems engineers and other disciplines to support the development of NGI deliverables.

Essential Skills

+ Solid foundational understanding of Systems Engineering with at least 5 years of experience.

+ General understanding of all design disciplines with at least 5 years of experience.

+ Demonstrated experience in requirements development and decomposition, validation, and verification with at least 5 years of experience.

+ Experience in requirements traceability with at least 5 years of experience.

+ Proficiency in DOORS or other requirements management software with at least 5 years of experience.

+ Ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and nontechnical personnel.

+ Interim Secret DoD security clearance, or higher.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) with 5 years of related engineering experience; or a Master’s degree in STEM with 3 years of related engineering experience, or a PhD in STEM with no experience.

Work Environment

Most work is performed in a closed area, emphasizing the need for security clearance. The work environment is collaborative, with opportunities to work on revolutionary systems that impact people's lives globally.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Chandler, Arizona.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $72.00/hr.
