    Job Title: Civil Design Engineer

    Job Description

    The Civil Design Engineer will play a crucial role in all land development projects. This position involves conducting zoning inspections and designing detailed site layouts for various roadways and utility runs. The engineer will frequently work with and mentor junior-level staff members. Experience with stormwater design, Hydrologic and Hydraulic (H&H) modeling, or Erosion and Sediment Control planning would be beneficial.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct zoning inspections and design detailed site layouts.

    + Create designs for roadways and utility runs.

    + Mentor and collaborate with junior-level staff.

    + Work on stormwater design and management.

    + Utilize Hydrologic and Hydraulic (H&H) modeling.

    + Plan and implement Erosion and Sediment Control.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in Civil 3D and Civil design.

    + Experience in land development and civil engineering.

    + Experience with civil drawing and construction.

    + Knowledge of site development and stormwater design.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Experience in roadway or land development design.

    + Understanding of local, state, and federal permits and ordinances.

    + Possession of a P.E license in PA is preferred.

    + Proficiency in CAD Civil 3D or Bluebeam is a plus.

    + Experience with Stormwater Management (SWM) design calculations is beneficial.

    Work Environment

    The work environment involves collaboration with a team of engineers and junior staff. The role requires the use of technologies such as Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and potentially Bluebeam. The position may involve both office-based and fieldwork, depending on project needs.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Permanent position based out of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
