Job Title: Phlebotomist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Phlebotomist to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on phlebotomy experience in an outpatient setting, with both stationary and float positions available. You will play a crucial role in collecting and processing blood samples, ensuring they are packaged correctly for testing.
Responsibilities
+ Draw patient blood samples, process, and package them properly, approximately 25-30 times per day.
+ Communicate daily with clinic staff to organize and schedule blood draws.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in blood draw, phlebotomy, and venipuncture.
+ Experience in specimen collection and processing.
+ Ability to perform 200 plus solo draws.
+ Knowledge of the order of draw and BD Vacutainer tube colors for multiple tube collections.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ At least 1 year of experience as a Phlebotomist or Medical Assistant.
+ Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certification or certificate.
+ High School Diploma.
Work Environment
The team wears Navy Blue Scrubs. The site in Ann Arbor hosts about 15 people, while individual offsite locations may have 0-2 other employees. When working offsite, you could be part of a team of 0-3 people, depending on the location. Raises are provided at six months.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
