    Certified Pharmacy Technician

     

    Actalent has partnered with a company in Overland Park, Kansas, that is seeking a certified and licensed Pharmacy Technician. If you are currently certified in Missouri and willing to obtain Kansas certification, we encourage you to apply. Pay $21/hr

     

    This role involves handling specialty pharmaceuticals and related supplies, processing pharmacy orders, managing inventory, and ensuring the proper storage of drugs. This is a contract-to-hire position with the goal of becoming permanent. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. The role is initially a 6-month contract with the potential to become permanent.

    Responsibilities

    + Handle medication of specialty pharmaceuticals and related supplies following regulations and company policies.

    + Process pharmacy orders, ensuring all necessary items are included.

    + Perform drug and supply ordering and manage inventory.

    + Ensure proper storage of drugs and supplies, including refrigeration of perishable products.

    + Monitor and adjust pharmacy equipment as needed.

    Essential Skills

    + Licensed in KS.

    + Must be at least 18 years old.

    + National Certification.

    + Pharmacy technician certificate.

    + Pharmacy technician license.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Pharmacy experience in any setting is preferred.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Overland Park, Kansas.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
