Job Title: Plant Engineering ManagerJob Description
As a Plant Engineering Manager, you will direct and coordinate the activities of workers engaged in repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment, as well as the maintenance of building and utility systems. You will perform these duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
Responsibilities
+ Adhere to all general safety regulations and utilize provided safety equipment.
+ Understand and follow ISO 9001 requirements and the Olympic Quality Policy.
+ Research and implement corrective actions for production lines and facility equipment issues.
+ Oversee the maintenance department, including operations, budget, spare parts inventory, and management of outside contractors.
+ Conduct maintenance downtime reviews.
+ Manage HS&E elements, Control of Hazardous Energy, Hot Work Permits, and Preventative Maintenance.
+ Supervise the Facility Manager, Mechanical Engineer, Mechanical Specialist, maintenance hourly employees, and administrative clerk.
Essential Skills
+ Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
+ Proficiency in responding to inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or the business community.
+ Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or board of directors.
+ Advanced mathematical skills, including exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations.
+ Strong reasoning ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ Three to five years of related experience and/or training.
+ Experience in engineering management, particularly in supervising facility management and mechanical specialists.
Work Environment
This role is based in a non-climate controlled facility. While performing duties, you may occasionally be exposed to moving mechanical parts, high places, fumes, airborne particles, toxic chemicals, electrical shock, and vibration. The noise level is usually moderate. The standard work hours are eight hours per day, five days per week on an assigned shift, with the potential for overtime and work on weekends and holidays. You will use electrical test equipment, meters, scopes, and various shop equipment and tools.

This is a Permanent position based out of Greensboro, North Carolina.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
