    Electrical Engineer (PE)

    Job Description

    We are seeking a highly experienced Electrical Engineer with 8-15+ years of experience and a Professional Engineer (PE) license. The primary focus of this role will be managing a team of engineers, overseeing quality control of projects, and ensuring successful project completion, particularly within the healthcare sector. Candidates close to obtaining their PE are also encouraged to apply.

    Responsibilities

    + Design and supervise the design of specific projects, attend meetings, and collaborate with project team members to ensure detailed project documentation.

    + Complete reports, specifications, and conduct code research to establish design criteria for projects.

    + Ensure project design and production efforts are completed within budget and on schedule.

    + Lead the design, documentation, and completion of lighting, power, and signal calculations.

    + Collaborate with the Discipline leader to communicate with clients and contractors.

    + Perform and supervise construction administration tasks.

    + Supervise and mentor junior staff to aid in their development into experienced engineers.

    + Produce effective proposals and make presentations.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering

    + Registered PE in at least one state with credentials suitable for registration in other states

    + 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering

    + Strong management and team leadership skills

    + Strong technical knowledge and application

    + Knowledge of current codes and practices

    + Experience with engineering calculation software and equipment selection programs

    + Proficiency in REVIT

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Experience in healthcare or related project types

    + Proficiency in AutoCAD and schematic design

    + Experience in low voltage, construction administration, lighting, power, and signal calculations

    Work Environment

    The position operates on a hybrid schedule with a 36-hour workweek. On Monday and Wednesday, employees work 8 hours remotely, either from home or on-site if necessary. Tuesday and Thursday are designated for in-office work at the Office, including coordination and site visits as needed. Fridays consist of 4 hours of remote work from home.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $67.31/hr.
