The Manager, Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) Oncology will join a high caliber team to execute HEOR strategies and tactics for Oncology and early pipeline assets in Oncology. The individual will support Director and/or Associate Director Oncology to ensure project plans integrate and align with the product strategic plans from matrix teams to maintain leadership in Oncology. The individual provides updates on the execution of plans to products, development of product strategic plans, liaises with other team members to generate innovative ideas and create alignment on strategies.
Responsibilities
+ Support the development of strategic plans and studies to support patient access within a highly matrixed, team environment.
+ Communicate study findings to internal matrix and external audiences, including payers, patient advocacy groups, and key opinion leaders.
+ Develop and execute HEOR projects, including writing RFPs, vendor selection, and management including budget.
+ Execute HEOR research using internal data sets, writing protocols and statistical analysis plans, defending in protocol review committee, and executing research with analysts to write final reports or publications using prospective, retrospective, modeling, PROs, meta-analyses, and hybrid designs.
+ Understand and translate strategic brand directions into evidence solutions, focusing on the impact of evidence generation to solve complex issues.
+ Partner with internal stakeholders such as development, on-market cross-functional teams, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and others to execute on evidence needs of the asset.
+ Maintain awareness of regulatory legislation and assess its impact on business and product development programs.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in HEOR, PRO, Economic Modeling, Health Economics, Outcomes Research, Patient Reported Outcomes, Real World Evidence, Real World Data, and Claims Data.
+ PhD, MS, or MPH in Health Economics, Pharmacoeconomics, Health Services Research, Public Health, or related field.
+ Prior experience with real-world evidence generation.
+ Strong foundation in scientific fundamentals of core HEOR specialties such as epidemiology, biostatistics, patient reported outcomes, health services research, economics, clinical practice, or behavior science.
+ Capability to perform health economic projects from inception through application with minimal oversight.
+ Proven track record of scientific excellence, operational excellence, and strong oral and written communication skills.
+ Technical expertise in at least one area: creation of economic models, conducting claim data analyses and observational research studies/analyses, development of PRO measures and analysis of PRO data, or complete analyses for U.S. or International evidence dossiers.
+ Ability to interact effectively in a global team environment.
+ Possess both strategic and tactical skills in executing HEOR.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with the development of PRO measures and analysis of PRO data.
+ Ability to conduct claim data analyses and observational research studies/analyses.

This role operates in a hybrid work environment located in Mettawa, IL.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Mettawa, Illinois.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr.
