Experienced Phlebotomist Needed for a Patient Service Center

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at a patient service center. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using straight needles for a majority of blood draws, with the ability to use butterfly needles for hard sticks.

Responsibilities

+ Perform blood draws using straight needles and butterfly needles for difficult cases.

+ Draw blood at a patient service center.

+ Process blood samples efficiently and accurately.

+ Conduct infant blood draws, with pediatric experience as a plus.

Essential Skills

+ 3 years of experience in phlebotomy and blood drawing.

+ Proficiency with straight needles and butterfly needles.

+ Attention to detail and strong administrative skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with infant and pediatric blood draws.

+ Strong attention to detail and excellent administrative skills.

Work Environment

The work schedule includes Monday from 10am to 6pm, Tuesday to Thursday from 8am to 5pm, Friday from 8am to 4pm, and rotating Saturdays at Brentwood or Bay Shore from 7am to 3:30pm. This role is ideal for those who enjoy a change of scenery and in-state travel. Note that this position does not require working on holidays or vacations.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
