Job Title: Clinical Laboratory Technician
Job Description
This position is situated within the Biopharma department, focusing on clinical laboratory testing and validation work for in vitro diagnostics clients. It offers a dynamic environment where you will perform a variety of laboratory tasks and contribute to innovative test development.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct clinical laboratory testing, including pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical phases, as well as assay/instrument calibration, quality control, and instrument maintenance.
+ Perform analytical validation work in accordance with client protocols.
+ Participate in test validation work for two tests in development: cell isolation for a cell viability assay and assay/instrument calibration, quality control, instrument maintenance, and running validation samples for a more advanced test.
+ Maintain general laboratory equipment.
+ Engage in other duties such as making quality control pools, performing quality activities as per procedures, and managing inventory.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in laboratory and medical laboratory testing.
+ Experience in instrumentation and troubleshooting.
+ Strong background in Chemistry and Biology.
+ Ability to process specimens efficiently.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in a human biological science such as Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Genetics, or Neuroscience.
+ Healthcare background is advantageous.
+ Candidates must not have been out of lab work for more than one year.
+ Master's degree is acceptable, but not PhD or engineering degrees.
+ OPT candidates are welcome.

The work is scheduled from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with some flexibility. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rochester, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
