• Quality Lab Technician

    Actalent (Lubbock, TX)


    We are seeking dedicated Lab Technicians to join our team in performing essential quality seed testing at one of the largest cotton seed sites globally. As a Quality Lab Technician, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing incoming raw materials and finished products to ensure top-quality seeds are provided to cotton farmers across the United States and Mexico.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Conduct visual inspections of seed samples for quality and consistency

    + Perform essential lab tests including pH, protein assays, moisture analysis, and titrations

    + Execute warm and cool germination tests

    + Carry out purity analysis and precise seed counts

    + Organize and implement standardized sampling procedures

    + Flexibility for 1st or 2nd shift is required

    Qualifications:

    + High School Diploma (Required)

    + Valid Passport or Birth Certificate required for onboarding

    + Must be available to start on October 27th!

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
