Job Title: Software Development ManagerJob Description

Join a dynamic team as a Technical PLC/Software Development Manager where you will oversee the software development of conveyor and sortation systems. This role is pivotal in implementing site-based controls for new equipment within both new and existing customer systems. You will lead, develop, and mentor a team of SCADA and PLC development engineers. Collaboration with Operations and Controls engineering groups is essential to support project scope and schedules. Additionally, you will manage a repository of applications, design, and implement scalable, secure, and efficient software solutions in close collaboration with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

+ Oversee and manage software development for conveyor and sortation systems.

+ Implement site-based controls for new equipment within customer systems.

+ Lead, develop, and mentor a team of SCADA and PLC development engineers.

+ Collaborate with Operations and Controls engineering groups to support project scope and schedule.

+ Manage a repository of applications.

+ Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient software solutions.

+ Identify requirements and translate them into software designs with stakeholders.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in PLC software development.

+ Proficiency in Rockwell, HMI development, and controls development.

+ Strong skills in Python development and scripting.

+ 8+ years of experience in software management.

+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.

+ Experience in material handling or parcel systems.

+ Management experience in a technical environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with UPS or USPS projects.

+ Proficiency in Rockwell or Siemens & Schneider PLC development.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $155000.00 - $165000.00/yr.
