CAD Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CAD Engineer with experience in CNC programming and manufacturing. This role involves developing CNC programs, optimizing production efficiency, and collaborating directly with machine operators. If you have a passion for innovation and a keen eye for detail, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

+ Develop CNC programs for Mill and Lathe machines using Mastercam.

+ Design, assemble, procure, or modify tooling, fixtures, and equipment to optimize production efficiency.

+ Support failure analysis and troubleshoot non-conforming products to identify root causes.

+ Assist with rework and repair processes for manufactured components.

+ Participate in the New Product Implementation (NPI) process.

+ Collaborate directly with machine operators in a hands-on capacity.

+ Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications Required

+ Minimum of 3 years of CNC programming experience (Mastercam or Solidworks preferred).

+ At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

+ Proven experience with complex machine component processing.

+ Proficient in writing and editing G & M code for CNC machines.

+ Advanced blueprint reading and strong understanding of GD&T.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with design, 3D modeling, and CAD software including Mastercam and Solidworks.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00/hr.
