Clinical Laboratory Technician
Job Description
This position is within the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology. The role supports the facility's Operations team, focusing on systems and utilities required for lab space and equipment to operate efficiently. This includes technical knowledge to support compressed gases, cryogenic liquids, lab water systems, electrical/UPS, and integration with lab automation.
Responsibilities
+ Support the Operations team in ensuring systems and utilities for lab equipment operate smoothly.
+ Provide technical expertise in compressed gases, cryogenic liquids, and lab water systems.
+ Assist with electrical/UPS systems and integration with lab automation.
+ Operate and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation and assay systems.
+ Conduct oneself under time constraints and perform effectively in a fast-paced and changing environment.
+ Communicate effectively and collaborate closely with team members.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with laboratory operations and instrumentation troubleshooting.
+ Bachelor's degree in a human biological science (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, etc.).
+ Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
