    Job Title: Development Engineer - HVAC

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Development Engineer specializing in HVAC systems to join our dynamic engineering team. The role involves preparing and executing engineering changes within serial development, and contributing to the creation of more efficient and environmentally friendly climate systems.

    Responsibilities

    + Prepare and execute engineering changes within serial development.

    + Report to project and management meetings, obtaining necessary decisions.

    + Participate in potential audits jointly with the manufacturing process team.

    + Conduct supplier visits during the launch phase to ensure maturity according to project timing.

    + Buy off and validate HVAC component testing.

    + Support fault analysis and continuous improvement and optimization of existing systems.

    + Assist in developing more efficient and environmentally friendly climate systems.

    + Bring up lessons learned and analyze customer feedback and market trends to improve HVAC technology.

    + Support software development for the HVAC system in the vehicle environment, aligning with comfort and climate goals.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project, quality, purchasing, buildability, and production teams.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in parts development, liaison engineering, supplier development, and automotive seating.

    + Knowledge of VDA, engineering changes, BOM, project management, and supplier quality.

    + Expertise as an automotive HVAC Subject Matter Expert.

    + 5-10 years of experience in automotive HVAC engineering.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Proven experience in parts and supplier development.

    + Strong project management skills.

    + Ability to analyze market trends and customer feedback.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $59.00/hr.
