Job Title: Traveling Carpenter
Job Description
As a Traveling Carpenter, you will utilize your expertise to build, install, maintain, and repair structures made of wood and other materials. You will work on both residential and commercial buildings, often on construction sites, with duties ranging from demolition, framing, drywall patching to metal framing and steel erection.
Responsibilities
+ Perform demolition work and higher-end carpentry tasks.
+ Work on steel buildings and framing walls.
+ Engage in general construction duties including concrete work, rough and finish carpentry.
+ Utilize hand and power tools effectively.
+ Read and interpret blueprints for commercial construction projects.
+ Execute installation and trim work.
+ Perform painting, formwork, and shoring as needed.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in carpentry and general construction.
+ Experience in demolition, framing, and drywall patching.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
+ Skilled in using hand and power tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Must be willing to travel to different states.
+ Must bring basic tools to each job site.

Work Environment
You will work across various job sites around the country, experiencing a dynamic construction job site environment. The position involves traveling to different states and working in varied conditions typical of construction settings.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Arlington, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $42.00/hr.
