Overview
An established General Contractor is seeking a **Framing Superintendent** for a long-term opportunity in Western Colorado. This role involves supervising self-perform framing and siding activities on large-scale commercial construction projects, with overall budgets ranging from **$50M to $150M** , and framing/siding scopes between **$5M and $20M** .
You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of framing and siding operations—from mobilization to project closeout—ensuring work is completed **on time** , **within budget** , and to **high-quality standards** .
Key Responsibilities
+ Supervise wood framing and siding operations, ensuring quality, safety, and schedule adherence.
+ Manage crews of framers and siders; coordinate material and panel deliveries.
+ Perform layout and verify field dimensions.
+ Operate and oversee use of framing and siding tools and equipment.
+ Plan and implement the sequence of framing and siding work.
+ Monitor progress against milestone schedules and identify potential delays.
+ Develop and manage site logistics and delivery schedules.
+ Conduct daily inspections to ensure compliance with building codes and specifications.
+ Verify proper installation of framing and siding products.
+ Lead daily safety meetings and morning huddles to review assignments and goals.
+ Communicate effectively with project stakeholders including managers, engineers, subcontractors, and inspectors.
+ Attend weekly coordination meetings.
+ Resolve crew conflicts and address performance issues.
+ Manage quality control processes including punch lists, inspections, and documentation.
+ Handle project documentation including RFIs, daily reports, safety inspections, and schedule updates.
Required Skills & Experience
+ Minimum **10 years** of building construction experience.
+ At least **5 years** of carpentry experience.
+ Strong knowledge of framing and siding scopes, methods, and techniques.
+ Ability to read and interpret construction documents, drawings, specifications, and shop drawings.
+ Experience in scheduling and managing framing crews.
+ Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Certifications (Preferred)
+ First Aid/CPR
+ Aerial Lift, Scissor Lift, and Forklift
+ Competent Person in Scaffolding and Fall Protection

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00/hr.
