Job Title: Controls Service Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Controls Service Technician to join our team in building and servicing automation, data, and critical centers. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation of our automation systems within high-security environments.
Responsibilities
+ Perform checkout, start-up, and testing of BMS DDC controllers for a variety of mechanical systems in Data Centers and other critical environments.
+ Communicate effectively by providing daily updates and status reports to both the Project Lead and Project Manager.
+ Coordinate with and communicate directly to customers and other contractors in a professional manner.
+ Document project status and ensure accuracy in the creation of close-out documents.
+ Write and adhere to detailed Method of Procedure (MOP) and Change Management (CM) forms and processes.
+ Conduct BMS commissioning, including Pre-functional, Functional, and Integrated Systems Testing processes, both individually and with third-party/customer commissioning agents.
+ Perform periodic maintenance and service of existing BMS systems in active Data Center environments.
+ Support multiple concurrent projects in the Eastern Oregon and Washington areas.
+ Work within a high-security environment, adhering to customer security policies and procedures.
Essential Skills
+ Proficient in data center maintenance, installation assembly, and electrical systems.
+ Experience with construction, blueprint reading, PLCs, automation, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
+ Knowledgeable in mechanical construction, BMS systems, DDC Controllers, HVAC, and control systems.
+ Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems with excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
+ Strong understanding of computer operating systems and computer networking.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with AutoDesk AutoCAD, MS Visio, and/or Bluebeam Revu is preferred.
+ Local travel required to Eastern Oregon and Washington areas, with occasional overnight travel.

Work Environment
The work environment consists of data centers, critical centers, and automation facilities. This role requires adherence to high-security protocols and involves local travel within Eastern Oregon and Washington, with the possibility of occasional overnight stays.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richland, Washington.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $48.00/hr.
