Job Title: Quality Supervisor
Job Description
This role involves supervisory and technical work, requiring a strong understanding of statistical process control methods, tools, and procedures. The Quality Supervisor will oversee hourly quality assurance inspectors, ensuring inspection procedures are consistent and continuous across shifts. Excellent organizational skills and proficiency with a PC are essential.
Responsibilities
+ Manage and direct Quality Control activities of inspectors on all shifts.
+ Screen, test, and recommend the selection of new inspectors from internal and external sources.
+ Ensure compliance with all applicable departmental and corporate quality assurance policies and procedures.
+ Investigate and implement disciplinary actions in line with corporate personnel policies.
+ Train and test inspectors in quality control procedures.
+ Monitor, train, evaluate, and address employee performance as needed.
+ Calibrate and maintain inventory of measuring tools, updating departmental records on employee performance.
+ Track Internal Problem Reports.
+ Perform as a Lead Auditor.
+ Communicate with the customer and supplier base.
Essential Skills
+ 5+ years in quality supervision.
+ 5+ years in the automotive industry.
+ Proficiency in quality assurance and quality control.
+ Strong supervisory skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with automotive interior systems.
+ Familiarity with injection molding processes.

Work Environment
Work in a typical injection molding and automotive manufacturing environment. While the plant can get warm in the summer and may be dirtier due to extensive use, it is very organized, thanks to continuous improvement efforts. Enjoy a structured work schedule on the 1st shift, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

This is a Permanent position based out of Vicksburg, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $44000.00 - $66000.00/yr.
