Job Title: Electrician - Solar Project

Job Description

We are seeking skilled electricians to join our team on a solar project. The ideal candidates will have extensive experience in electrical IV curve testing, installing both above and below ground electrical systems, and performing terminations.

Responsibilities

+ Perform electrical IV curve testing on solar panels.

+ Install electrical systems both above and below ground.

+ Execute electrical terminations.

+ Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

+ Troubleshoot electrical issues as they arise.

+ Perform conduit bending and wiring tasks.

+ Run conduit and pull wire as needed.

+ Participate in daily safety talks and adhere to safety protocols.

Essential Skills

+ 5+ years of solar electrical experience.

+ Proficiency in IV curve testing.

+ Classification as a mechanic or journeyman in the non-solar industry.

+ OSHA 10 certification.

+ Ability to operate a scanner or computer.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in conduit bending and pipe bending.

+ Comfortable with labor and non-electrical tasks.

Work Environment

Work takes place outdoors on a 65 MW solar project in Farnham, VA. Expect a new construction environment with 5-hour shifts Monday through Friday, starting at 7 AM, with some weekend work. Daily schedule includes morning, lunch, and afternoon breaks. Safety is a priority with daily safety talks, and appropriate outdoor work clothing is required on site.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Farnham, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
