Job Description

Set up and operate CNC Mills, Lathes, and/or Grinders to produce a wide variety of aerospace and industrial shaft seals and piston rings. Work with various metals to mill, turn, and bore parts. Use oral and written instructions, blueprints, sketches, and process sheets to guide your work. Precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers will be used to ensure accuracy. The primary materials machined will be titanium and 410-stainless steel.

Pay: $27 + shift diff

Responsibilities

+ Set up and operate CNC machines including Mills, Lathes, and Grinders.

+ Perform machining operations primarily on titanium and 410-stainless steel.

+ Use precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy and quality of parts.

+ Interpret and work from blueprints, sketches, and process sheets.

+ Conduct conversational edits, tooling changes, and offsets as necessary.

Work Environment

Work in a clean, well-lit, and climate-controlled facility with union representation. Employees are part of the United Steelworkers Union with a $10 initiation fee and union dues. Shifts are available on the 2nd and 3rd shifts, with training conducted on the 1st shift. Note that cell phones are not permitted on the production floor.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $61318.40 - $61318.40/yr.

PAID HOLIDAYS -- 12 holidays per calendar year and 2 personal holidays per Union contract year

VACATION – 2 weeks’ of vacation after completing 6-months of employment; vacation resets on 1/1 of each calendar year

RETIREMENT/401(K) PLAN – Option to invest your contributions on a Pre-tax or Roth (After-tax) basis. Automatic enrollment at 3% unless you elect differently.

Automatic 3% company contribution into your account on a per pay period basis (regardless of your

participation, 1 year vesting)
