Job Title: 3rd Shift Production Technician

Job Description

Join our team as a Production Technician working in a light cleanroom setting, where you will operate and troubleshoot the 'Flex' machine, our most complex laser machine. You will handle rolls of plastic film to produce testing kits for various industries, ensuring precise alignment of multiple film layers.

Responsibilities

+ Operate the 'Flex' laser machine to cut and stack layers of film for testing kits.

+ Load and manage rolls of plastic film weighing 40-50lbs onto the machine.

+ Utilize two computer monitors to adjust machine settings and monitor the Vision System.

+ Ensure precise alignment of 13 layers of film for accurate final products.

+ Troubleshoot machine issues independently before involving the maintenance team.

+ Maintain high attention to detail and work autonomously during your shift.

Essential Skills

+ Vision System experience is mandatory.

+ Proficient in machine operation and troubleshooting.

+ Mechanical inclination and ability to work independently.

+ High attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with roll forming is beneficial.

+ Previous experience in machine operation and troubleshooting from printing companies is advantageous.

Work Environment

This position operates during the 3rd shift, from Sunday to Thursday, 11:30pm to 7:30am, with a 20% shift differential. You will work in a smaller team environment, alongside 3-4 colleagues on your shift. The setting requires lab coats and hair nets but is not a full cleanroom. The environment can be loud, but you are allowed to wear one earbud to listen to music, podcasts, or audiobooks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hudson, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
