Job Title: Mechanical Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in troubleshooting mechanical malfunctions, working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and machining with lathes and mills. This role involves performing setup and changeovers, interpreting blueprints and schematics, and conducting preventative maintenance on machinery.

Responsibilities

+ Troubleshoot mechanical malfunctions and work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

+ Perform machining tasks using lathes and mills.

+ Conduct setup and changeovers for machinery operations.

+ Interpret blueprints and schematics accurately.

+ Perform preventative maintenance on all machinery, focusing on mechanical components.

+ Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively.

+ Troubleshoot conveyors and conveyor belts.

+ Replace and rewire 3-phase motors.

+ Electrical troubleshooting is a plus but not mandatory.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical systems.

+ Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

+ Machining skills with lathes and mills.

+ Ability to perform setup and changeovers.

+ Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with electrical troubleshooting is a plus.

+ Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting is advantageous.

+ Experience with systems such as Heidelberg, KBA, Manroland, Zerand, BW systems, Mead, Graphic packaging, RockTenn, RR Donnelly, Jefferson Smurfitt, Altivity, Flexo, Lithography, Bobst, and welding.

Work Environment

The position operates on a 2-2-3 schedule, with shifts running from 6 PM to 6 AM or 6 AM to 6 PM. Training will be conducted on the first shift, with potential movement to the third shift based on company needs. Enjoy working in a clean room facility that is temperature controlled, with comprehensive training available.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Hebron, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $47840.00 - $58240.00/yr.
