Job Title: Concrete Carpenter – Steel Structure Specialist

Position Summary:

We’re looking for an experienced **Concrete Carpenter** with a strong background in steel-framed construction. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in commercial and industrial environments, combining traditional carpentry skills with expertise in concrete forming and steel structure assembly.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

+ Construct and secure concrete forms using wood, plywood, and modular form systems.

+ Execute concrete pours and finishing for foundations, slabs, walls, curbs, and columns.

+ Conduct inspections before and after pours to ensure quality and compliance.

+ Assemble steel building components including frames, columns, purlins, and girts.

+ Interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and layout plans accurately.

+ Install metal roofing, siding, and structural steel elements.

+ Perform rough and finish carpentry tasks such as framing, drywall, trim, and cabinetry.

+ Operate hand and power tools including drills, saws, impacts, and measuring devices.

+ Coordinate with other trades and site supervisors to meet project deadlines.

+ Maintain safety standards through daily job hazard analyses and PPE compliance.

+ Keep work areas clean, organized, and hazard-free.

Qualifications & Skills:

+ **4–6 years** of hands-on experience in concrete forming and steel building construction.

+ Skilled in blueprint reading and using precision tools like tape measures and laser levels.

+ Familiarity with modular form systems and steel framing techniques.

+ Physically capable of lifting up to **80 lbs** and working at heights or in varying weather.

+ Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation required.

Preferred Certifications:

+ **OSHA 10 or 30** certification.

+ Forklift and aerial lift operation cards are a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
