Job Title: Skilled Laborer

Job Description

Join a dynamic team at our newly opened plant in Florence, TX, where you will be an integral part of concrete production. As a Skilled Laborer, you will utilize your expertise with hand and power tools to assemble structures, set up equipment, and manage loading and unloading tasks.

Responsibilities

+ Operate hand and power tools to assemble structures.

+ Assist in setting up equipment around the plant.

+ Perform loading and unloading tasks.

+ Engage in general production and construction activities.

Essential Skills

+ Fluency in Spanish.

+ Experience in heavy industrial work environments.

+ Proficiency with hand and power tools.

+ Knowledge of measuring tools and tape measures.

+ Ability to lift 50+ lbs consistently.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Previous construction or heavy industrial manufacturing experience preferred.

Work Environment

This role is based in an indoor and outdoor manufacturing plant, requiring resilience to temperature variations. Expect long days filled with manual labor, including bending, standing, and lifting repetitive tasks. The workweek starts with a shift from 7:00 am, working 10-12 hours from Monday to Friday, soon extending to include Saturdays. Safety gear, including steel-toed shoes and met guards, is mandatory and provided by the company, along with other necessary personal protective equipment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Florence, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
