URGENTLY HIRING - Job Title: General Production Worker - 1st and 2nd shift open

$16/hr to $18/hr

Job Description

As a General Production Worker, your primary role will involve 'weeding' tasks, which consist of removing excess material from adhesive sheets using your hands, tweezers, and small picks. The sheets are approximately 12 inches long, and you will perform these tasks while seated at a desk. This role requires repetitive finger, hand, and wrist movements, along with constant visual attention to detail. Additional responsibilities include loading sheets into machines for coating and finishing, assisting in quality inspection, counting finished products, and applying heat transfer labels to clothing items using a large t-shirt heat transfer press.

Responsibilities

+ Perform 'weeding' by removing excess material from adhesive sheets.

+ Operate seated at a desk, focusing on detailed tasks.

+ Assist in loading sheets into coating and finishing machines.

+ Conduct quality inspections and count finished products.

+ Apply heat transfer labels to clothing using a heat press.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in general production or related entry-level roles.

+ Strong attention to detail for product counting and inspection.

+ Ability to perform repetitive hand, finger, and wrist motions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with basic machine operating or repetitive assembly tasks is advantageous.

+ Ability to work with hand tools and operate machines.

Work Environment

The position is for the 3rd shift, running from 12am to 7am. The work environment is warmer but not excessively hot. Safety is a priority, with requirements for wearing safety shoes, ear protection, and eye protection. Most tasks are performed while seated, though standing for extended periods is occasionally required. Please note that phones are not permitted in production areas.

This is a Contract position based out of Miamisburg, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
