Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for ensuring the proper operation of HVAC systems, pumps, electrical distribution, and other essential systems throughout the hospital. This role involves repair and maintenance of these systems, as well as responding to work orders for general equipment and systems breakdowns.
Responsibilities
+ Check equipment and facilities for proper operation of HVAC systems, pumps, electrical distribution, and other essential systems.
+ Repair and maintain HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
+ Respond to work orders for general equipment and systems breakdowns.
+ Perform general carpentry, furniture assembly, and moving tasks.
+ Conduct preventative maintenance and equipment repair.
+ Make rounds through the facility, read various gauges, and make adjustments as needed.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and facilities maintenance.
+ Knowledge in boiler operation, construction, and conduit.
+ Proficiency in hydraulics, carpentry, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
+ Ability to troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance.
+ Experience in reading blueprints and schematics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ One year of experience in any trade is required.
+ Tech school diploma in a trade is a plus.
+ Boiler maintenance or operation experience is a plus.

Work Environment
This position is based in a large hospital located in Kenosha. The work environment requires wearing steel-toed shoes, jeans, and a plain collared shirt. The position is for the 3rd shift from 10 pm to 6 am, with work required every other weekend.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
