    Hiring for an Industrial Painter

     

    Pay: 22-24/hr

    Job Description

    As an Industrial Painter, you will operate advanced industrial painting equipment, including spray booths, robotic arms, and conveyor systems, to apply coatings to a variety of metal, plastic, and composite parts. You will be responsible for preparing surfaces, mixing paint colors, and ensuring the highest quality finish.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate industrial painting equipment such as spray booths, robotic arms, and conveyor systems.

    + Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and applying primers.

    + Mix and match paint colors according to specifications, ensuring proper viscosity and consistency.

    + Monitor paint application for quality, thickness, and coverage, adjusting equipment settings as needed.

    + Inspect finished products for defects like runs, sags, or uneven coverage, and perform touch-ups or rework.

    + Follow safety protocols, including handling hazardous materials, using PPE, and adhering to ventilation and fire safety standards.

    + Document production data, including paint usage, batch numbers, and quality control results.

    + Perform routine preventative maintenance on painting equipment, including cleaning nozzles and filters, lubricating parts, and replacing components.

    + Report equipment malfunctions and assist maintenance teams with troubleshooting and repairs.

    + Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safety and efficiency.

    + Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet daily output and quality goals.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in industrial painting or machine operation.

    + Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of preventative maintenance procedures.

    + Ability to read and interpret technical documents, safety guidelines, and work instructions.

    + Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Prior experience in industrial painting or machine operation is preferred.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
