Job Title: CMM Technician / Faro Arm Technician

Job Description

Join our quality department as a CMM Technician / Faro Arm Technician, where you will ensure the quality of parts coming out of machining. This role involves programming and running the Faro Arm with Polyworks, utilizing a scanning probe, assisting with PPAPs, and conducting first piece inspections. You will split your time between the production floor and the lab, and you'll need to be comfortable traveling between our main and secondary locations.

Responsibilities

+ Program and operate the Faro Arm with Polyworks software.

+ Conduct dimensional inspections using mics, calipers, and height gauges.

+ Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.

+ Assist with PPAP processes and documentation.

+ Perform first piece and final inspections.

+ Fill out inspection sheets accurately.

+ Travel between our main and secondary locations as needed.

Essential Skills

+ Expertise in Faro Arm programming with Polyworks.

+ Proficiency in using mics, calipers, and height gauges.

+ Strong ability to read blueprints and GD&T.

+ Comfortable using computers and running software.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with the PPAP process and paperwork.

+ Scanning experience using a probe scanner.

+ Background in metal inspection (no plastics).

+ Familiarity with High QA Software (training provided).

Work Environment

Our facilities boast over 70,000 square feet of manufacturing space at our original location with convenient access to major highways. The role is a first-shift position running Monday through Friday, starting at 6am with 8-10 hour days. We take pride in our contribution to military, electric car, bus, and USPS truck manufacturing. Our work environment is dynamic, with a mix of on-floor and lab duties, requiring a professional attitude and a collaborative spirit.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Warren, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.
