Job Title: Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Machinist responsible for setups, operation, and editing of codes on a variety of CNC machinery. The role involves drilling and milling components for the aerospace and oil/gas industries. This position requires job shop experience due to the necessity of longer setups and specific machining processes.
Responsibilities
+ Set up and operate CNC machinery.
+ Edit and manage G&M codes for machinery operation.
+ Drill and mill components specifically for aerospace and oil/gas industries.
+ Utilize job shop experience to manage longer setups and complex machining processes.
+ Operate and program machinery using Fanuc systems, including lathe and mill.
+ Ensure precision and quality in machining through the use of calipers and micrometres.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in CNC machining, including setups and editing G&M codes.
+ Experience with Fanuc programming, lathe, and mill operation.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
+ Skillful use of calipers and micrometres for precision measurement.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with machine brands such as OKK, Hermle, DMG, Kuraki, Nigata, and Job Gantry.
+ Ability to operate a variety of machines including 7 surface grinders, 4 5-axis machines, 7 VMCs, 10 HMCs, and 2 EDM sinker machines.
+ Programming skills required for 1st shift positions.

Work Environment
Our facility operates two shifts: 1st shift from 6am to 4:30pm, where programming skills are required, and 2nd shift from 4pm to 4am, which includes a 15% premium and is suitable for operators. The shop is clean, cool, and equipped with modern machinery and technology to support advanced machining processes.

This is a Permanent position based out of Grafton, Wisconsin.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
