    Job Title: CNC Programmer and Operator

    Job Description

    We are seeking an entry-level CNC Programmer and Operator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will program CNC machines using MasterCam, set up and operate CNC mills and lathes, and ensure the production of complex parts and assemblies from materials such as titanium, tungsten, and copper.

    Responsibilities

    + Program CNC machines using MasterCam for complex parts and assemblies.

    + Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to machine components from titanium, tungsten, and copper.

    + Adjust feeds, speeds, and tooling based on material properties and job requirements.

    + Interpret engineering drawings and apply GD&T principles to ensure dimensional accuracy.

    + Perform in-process inspections and final quality checks using precision measuring tools.

    + Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments to improve efficiency and quality.

    + Maintain equipment and tooling in good working condition.

    + Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes.

    + Document setups, programs, and best practices for repeatability and continuous improvement.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in MasterCam for CNC programming.

    + Experience with CNC setup and operation.

    + Understanding of G&M Codes and GD&T principles.

    + Ability to read blueprints and perform visual dimensional inspections.

    + Experience with CNC mills and lathes, including horizontal and vertical mills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree in machining or manufacturing preferred.

    + Familiarity with other CAM software is a plus.

    + Strong knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading.

    + Capability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

    + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment includes a large machine shop equipped for high precision production runs using a variety of CNC machines.     Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
