Job Title: Electro-Mechanic Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanic Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team. This role involves supporting our production floor by maintaining and servicing equipment and machines to meet production goals. The position offers opportunities on the 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM and 2nd shift from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

+ Cover all emergency breakdowns and repairs in a timely manner.

+ Report and act on problems with equipment, leaks, and other deficiencies.

+ Perform preventative maintenance tasks in accordance with the Preventative Maintenance Program.

+ Troubleshoot and repair 3-phase motors up to 480v.

+ Utilize testing equipment including multi-meters.

+ Familiarity with 480vAC, 120vAC, 24vDC, and 4-20mA systems.

+ Understand and assess pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems.

+ Complete routine assignments without direct supervision.

+ Work safely following all safety rules and regulations.

Essential Skills

+ Troubleshooting and maintenance skills for pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems.

+ Ability to read and follow basic blueprints, manuals, and schematics.

+ Proficiency in using test equipment.

+ Mechanical aptitude and the ability to solve moderately complex problems.

+ Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.

+ Ability to maintain consistent, punctual, and regular attendance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in industrial manufacturing.

+ Understanding of manufacturing processes and ability to inspect and repair components.

+ Ability to handle a flexible work environment while meeting deadlines.

+ Strong problem-solving skills.

+ Solid prior work history.

+ Ability to read and communicate in English.

Work Environment

The role is based in a steel manufacturing facility that builds columns for steel racking systems. The environment includes moderate noise levels and is somewhat dirty. The facility is not climate-controlled, so temperatures can vary depending on the time of year.

Job Location

This position is based out of Leola, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
