Job Title: Field Technician

Job Description

Join a dynamic team dedicated to groundwater drilling and service operations. We are seeking ambitious, safety-conscious, and reliable team members to work with clients in collecting soil and water samples, installing monitoring wells, and supporting activities to monitor and protect groundwater.

Responsibilities

+ Work with clients to collect soil and water samples.

+ Install monitoring wells and assist in groundwater protection activities.

+ Operate equipment and tools necessary for field operations.

+ Work outdoors year-round in various weather conditions.

+ Routinely lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally lift up to 100 lbs.

+ Travel for per diem jobs and work overtime when necessary.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in operating equipment is a must.

+ Mechanically inclined with experience using hand and power tools.

+ Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record.

+ Willingness to work outdoors throughout the year.

+ Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required by the job.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Geoprobe drilling experience or assisting is a plus.

+ CDL financial assistance program available for those interested.

+ General labor experience in landscaping, concrete, or construction.

+ Mechanical aptitude and willingness to obtain a CDL.

Work Environment

You will either be working in the shop or out in the field with at least one other person to guide you and ensure tasks are completed. Work attire includes jeans, a T-shirt, and work boots, and while gloves are recommended, they are not mandatory. The atmosphere is laid back as long as you maintain a good attitude and work diligently.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Maple Plain, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
