Job Title: CNC Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team and contribute to the production of high-quality components for handrail systems. This role is essential in ensuring precision and quality in our manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
+ Utilize the machining center to complete daily tasks and produce finished parts for handrail systems.
+ Read and interpret blueprints or schematics to manufacture parts within specified tolerances using quality gauges such as micrometers and calipers.
+ Set up and operate CNC Mills, as well as non-CNC machines, to achieve desired outcomes.
+ Load and adjust CNC programs as needed, primarily using G-code and some M-code.
+ Perform tool changes and verify the accuracy of manufactured products against drawings and specifications using measuring tools.
+ Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet established quality standards.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly to maintain production efficiency.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC Mills and non-CNC machines.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
+ Experience with tool changing and CNC program adjustments.
+ Capability to use measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers for quality assurance.
+ Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting manufacturing issues.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with HAAS, lathes, mills, and milling machines.
+ No specific certifications required, but familiarity with CNC operations is advantageous.

Work Environment
The work environment consists of a team of approximately 30 employees across two shifts, with a smaller team on the second shift. The facility is structured into different departments, including welding, machining, and assembly. Employees are expected to adhere to a dress code of work pants, t-shirts, and steel-toe boots or sneakers. The first shift operates from 5:30 am to 2 pm, Monday through Friday.

This position is based out of COLUMBIA, Pennsylvania.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
