Refrigeration Technician

Job Description

We’re seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team and ensure the optimal performance of our facility’s HVAC/R systems. In this role, you’ll handle maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics for a wide range of equipment, responding swiftly to emergencies and managing work orders efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

+ Maintain and repair HVAC/R systems and facility assets

+ Use commercial HVAC and refrigeration tools to troubleshoot and resolve issues

+ Manage repair work orders via our digital system

+ Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls

+ Inspect, operate, and test equipment to diagnose problems

+ Complete required safety training for tools and equipment

+ Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations

Essential Qualifications

+ Proven refrigeration and HVAC skills

+ Journeyman license

+ Vocational/Technical HVAC/R certification + 6 months experience, OR 2 years in commercial refrigeration, mechanical maintenance, or construction

+ Type I and Type II EPA certification

+ Experience with large-scale rack refrigeration systems

+ Valid driver’s license

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $83200.00/yr.
