Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Engineer
Overview:
**Seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Engineer** to join our operations team. This role is ideal for a dependable professional with strong troubleshooting abilities and a commitment to maintaining high-performance production equipment and facility infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance across all bakery machinery, refrigeration units, and facility systems.
+ Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues to minimize production downtime.
+ Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment in accordance with company Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
+ Ensure compliance with all applicable safety and regulatory standards.
+ Accurately document maintenance activities, including service calls, repairs, and scheduled maintenance tasks.
+ Respond promptly to equipment failures and production line interruptions to restore operations.
+ Provide emergency support and repairs as needed.
+ Collaborate across maintenance zones and assist with cross-functional tasks.
+ Support the Chief Engineer with technical insights and operational updates.
+ Proactively identify areas for improvement and suggest solutions to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
Core Competencies:
+ Proven experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
+ Familiarity with industrial electrical systems and components.
+ Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Hands-on experience with inverter systems and PLC programming.
+ Background in maintaining equipment in high-volume food production or commercial bakery settings.
+ Comfortable working in warm environments with fast-moving machinery.
+ Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and perform varied tasks.
+ Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
+ Dependable transportation to support a 24/7 production schedule
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
