Job Description
Join our team as a MIG Welder and Fabrication Specialist, where you will work on both structural and non-structural pieces using a MIG welding process. The primary focus will be on custom welding frames for greenhouses, with materials ranging from aluminum to structural steel. You will also contribute to the fabrication process, cutting and prepping metals and supporting overall shop activities.
Responsibilities
+ Perform MIG welding on aluminum and structural steel for custom greenhouse frames.
+ Assist with metal fabrication, including cutting and prepping materials for shipment.
+ Collaborate with crews and subcontractors on commercial projects.
+ Ensure adherence to schedules and timely completion of work.
+ Utilize hand and power tools, such as drills and tape measures, to build greenhouses.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in MIG welding, especially with aluminum.
+ Experience in reading and working from blueprints.
+ Ability to work independently and within a small shop setting.
+ Comfortable with travel and working on-site for extended periods.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
